five. for. friday.

Hi! Hey! Hello out there! My apologies for the hiatus and radio silence over here lately. I was on vacay in NYC for almost a week and then decided to take another week off from blogging in order to get caught up on some freelance work. (Side note: Isn’t the first week back from holiday always the hardest?!) While I will definitely be sharing a recap of my trip v. soon, I thought I would close out the week with a roundup of links I’m currently loving. Enjoy!

All photographs featured above are courtesy of the corresponding sources as cited below.

1. Tiny Spaces: A Book Lover's Chic Manhattan Studio (Brit + Co) // Brit + Co just launched a new video series this week called Tiny Spaces in which they spotlight tiny (yet very chic!) living spaces. First up was York Avenue blogger Jackie Clair’s Manhattan studio apartment. I’ve been following Jackie’s blog and Instagram for some time now (she’s always posting about the coolest NYC spots!) and her apartment is serious #goals. When can I move in?
2. 73 Questions With Kendall Jenner (Vogue) // If you’ve never tuned into Vogue’s 73 Questions series, then you’re seriously missing out. While I may not be a fan of the Kardashians, anyone who’s BFFs with Gigi Hadid is good in my book. Kendall Jenner handled this rapid-fire question sesh like a pro. (Try and guess what her hidden talent is...) Also, can I just say that I’m low-key obsessed with Kendall’s blush pink, fluttery cold-shoulder top. Major swoon.
3. The Challenge: A Week of Pink (J.Crew) // Challenge accepted: The Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine wore pink for five days straight (decked out in J.Crew, no less!) and she nailed it. My favorite look is from day two — her sequined skirt, mixed stripe sweater and playful straw watermelon bag is nothing short of sartorial perfection.
4. A Week in NYC on a $36,000 Salary (Refinery29) // So I just discovered Refinery29’s Money Diaries series and I’m kind of hooked. This week, they spotlighted a web editor in NYC with a $36,000 salary. In a nutshell, they tracked her spending habits for a seven-day period to see where all her hard-earned dolla dolla bills are going.
5. Internship Dos and Don'ts from Nicole Najafi, Founder of Industry Standard (Brit + Co) // Embarking on a fall internship? Girl, you’ve got this. Check out these game-changing dos and don’ts from Industry Standard founder, Nicole Najafi. I especially love what she had to say about always going the extra mile — talk about a good rule of thumb for every internship and job you have moving forward!

All photographs featured above are courtesy of the corresponding sources as cited below.
Hey there! Happy weekend! It's been a while since I've done a "five. for. friday." post, so I'm doing a Sunday edition. I've rounded up some of my favorite links (and gift guides that I've put together for Brit + Co), for your reading pleasure below. If you're currently in the midst of studying for your finals (BTW, good luck!) here's an excuse to take a study break + procrastinate for a few.

1. Sugared & Spiced: The Making of Our Holiday 2015 Windows (Anthropologie) // OMG, Anthro's window displays are extra on-point this holiday season. If you've ever wondered how much work is actually put into designing a holiday window, check out this video posted on Anthro's blog that shows a behind-the-scenes look at the process. Hint, hint: Epic gingerbread houses may or may not be involved.
2. 17 Unique Gift Ideas for People Who Are Always Cold (Brit + Co) // It's true. We all have at least one eskimo in our life (or perhaps it's even you!) who's always cold. When a Snuggie doesn't cut it, check out these 17 gifts that will keep the cold temps at bay.
3. MR's Guide to the Best Cookie (Man Repeller) // Heading to NYC for the holidays? Check out this guide to the best cookies in the Big Apple. I'll take one sugar cookie to go, please :)
4. 66 Gift Ideas for Every Style-Obsessed Person in Your Life (Brit + Co) // From the girly girl to the sporty sister to the #girlboss on your Christmas shopping list, it's all here, neatly organized by personality type. A few of my favorites include The Atelier "Icon Tote," the Fantastic Cities coloring book + the bkr Juliet 1 Liter water bottle.
5. At Home With Nicole Najafi of Industry Standard (domino) // Can you say apartment goals? While's it's no secret that I love Industry Standard jeans, I'm crushing hard over founder, Nicole Najafi's, swoon-inducing LES apartment in NYC. When can I move in... ?
6. 16 Sparkly Gift Ideas That Aren't Jewelry (Brit + Co) // Chock-full of — you guessed it — sparkly things, this is the gift guide to consult for the BFF who considers glitter to be a neutral. Don't we all?!
7. Download Now: 8 Festive Wallpapers to Holiday Up Your Desktop and Smartphone (Brit + Co) // The Brit + Co graphic design team put together eight super festive wallpapers (for your desktop computer, laptop, iPhone + various devices), so that you can gear up for the holidays in style. I've already DLed the "Fa-La-La" background for my MacBook (see below) and I'm this close to downloading the "Winter Trees" wallpaper for my iPhone. Which seasonal design is your fave?
