wearing: j.crew ruffled sweatshirt + sleepy jones paloma pajama short (on sale!)
I don't know about you, but this rain makes me want to do absolutely nothing.  Well, besides scrolling through my Pinterest feed, reblogging photos on Tumblr and double-tapping snapshots on Insta, that is.  With the weather being so dreary, you can bet that I'll be spending some time lounging in my favorite new pjs.  Speaking of which, I've decided to dedicate this entire post to Sleepy Jones (aka my latest obsession).

I first heard about Sleepy Jones through reading a blog post written by Carly Heitlinger of the College Prepster a few years back and have been hooked ever since.  While there was once a time when I would have flat out said no to fancy pjs, nowadays, I think a nice pair for relaxing, daydreaming and catching up on some much needed Zzzzzs is completely necessary.

Sleepy Jones was founded upon the "movement of non-movement."  In other words, kick back and allow your mind to wander while doing absolutely nothing in these cheeky pajama sets.  Besides how comfortable my Paloma seersucker striped pajama shorts have been, I can't get enough of the high-quality craftsmanship.  While these pjs don't come cheap, you're definitely getting what you pay for.  I happened to get mine on sale, which really made these bottoms a steal.  I can't stress enough how comfy they are for lounging — the length is perfect, the fit is just right and they're SO cute (check out that back pocket!).

While on vacay this past summer in NYC, I actually had the chance to stop by the Sleepy Jones store in SoHo. Let's just say that it didn't disappoint.  Besides the charming storefront, I literally felt like I had entered pajama heaven.  Think pjs galore.  And, did I mention that the sales associates get to wear their pjs to work?  Yup! From pajama shorts (or pants) and night shirts to robes and underwear, Sleepy Jones has you covered for all of your lounging needs.

Will you be joining Sleepy Jones' movement of non-movement?  Which pajama set (or print) is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

A
